My New Years Goal is to become more organized...

So yesterday I started to clean and organize my home, it feels so good to get down and dirty!! cleaning the house! I feel like I have accomplished something good. I feel like I did something productive! Today I tackle the kitchen, I am going to clean out the fridge, and clean the cabinets..etc.

But on more brighter notes...while we were down in Vegas we went to visit my dad at the Test Site and Briley got to ride on the truck and spray the hose....

It was such a blast! She told me while riding in the truck that she wanted to be a firefighter when she grows up. How sweet!!

This morning drinking my morning cups of coffee, I think to myself I am such a lucky woman. I have the most perfect family, a loving husband, two wonderful and gorgeous children!

Last week we went to Grand Junction, CO for 3 days. We had so much fun! Justin was taking a class so I was left to fend for myself, which wasn't so bad considering my cousin now lives there! So I called him up and we went to the mall and window shopped!!! (I haven't seen Corey in about 10 yrs!) so it was really good to catch up!

The first night there we ate at this place called Bostons (if you are ever in Grand Junction go there it is AWESOME) such good pizza!!! We started out with the baked cheese fries:::

Oven-baked French fries loaded with smoked bacon,

jalapeños, tomatoes, green onions and Cheddar

cheese. Served with a side of Ranch dressing.

They were amazing!!!

Then I had The Tuscan

Our signature Pomodoro sauce, roasted garlic,

spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and spicy chicken

with Feta, Mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses.

The sundried tomatos made this dish fantastic!!!

and my amazing husband had The Sicilian

Our famous pizza sauce, spicy Italian

sausage, smoked ham, sliced pepperoni, red

onions, green peppers, fresh basil, tomatoes

and Mozzarella cheese.

The last night there we had our pictures with Santa taken. Briley was so excited to meet Santa and tell him what she wanted! And Weston was such a good boy! He didn't cry, and he wasn't scared!!

We also got a cute ornament made at the mall!! I absolutely love it!! I get one every year! It is a tradition now!!

I havent wrote in awhile so I thought I would.

Weston started sleeping through the night on Sunday Nov. 1st!!! It was wonderful...well last night he was up every 2-3 hours! what happened?

!?! :) I was catching up on sleep and then he gets off sleeping through the night.

We went to Vegas on the night of the 1st, got there at 3am!!! WOWZA it was a long 9 hour drive!! But my dad finally got to see Weston!! Arent they so cute!! :) We went down there for Justins oral board for the NHP! I hope he gets this job! I am glad we have some pictures now of my dad and weston and my mom and weston.

Love of Leaves!!

Briley and I went to Caliente the other day and we played at grandma's. It was so much fun!! All the colors,and leaves falling from the trees, the coolness of the days makes for a beautiful day!! Just take a look at some of our pics!!

Briley very much enjoyed piling the leaves in a big heap and jumping in!! I remember myself as a kid loving to do the very same thing she loves! I of course was right there with her, piling them up and jumping into the center of the ever so carefully set leaves!!! 

When I thought there was enough "Mommy we need more!!" "Ok babycakes. come help me get some more!" "OK MOMMY" **with so much enthusiasm!**

"Are you ready?" "uh huh" "1..2..3..JUMP!!"...

Little did my princess know that I had something up my sleeve for her!! 

I was raking up as many leaves as I could....

I told her that grandma wanted to get a picture of her...which was true!!

BUT...

I had my own little pile set aside to throw on top of her!!

We just love this time of year, its so much fun, and it doesn't get anywhere close to 100 degrees!!!

This was such a fun day! We had so much fun playing outside, and grandma loved to watch!!

too bad daddy wasn't there to play with us.

I am so happy!! I love to play with my daughter. I Love my husband, and we cannot wait to add on to our family!!

I cant wait till there is enough snow on the ground to make snow angels, and snowmen!!

"Mommy were Best Friends"

She says we are best friends!! I love it!! I couldn't ask for a better best friend!!

Life

This life is the most wonderful life! I have the most beautiful daughter one could have, she is my life and joy. She brings a smile to my face every morning, every minute of the day! I love to play with her and read books, our favorite are Dr. Seuss! 

Briley is always so full of laughter and joy! Always has a smile on her face. She loves school and loves to do her homework!

We love the outdoors and will go fishing whenever we can!!

When daddy is here of course!!

I thought life was wonderful before Briley came into our lives, which it was, but this...mommyhood...beyond anything I could have ever imagined!!! I wake up to the cutest little smiling face, saying "mommy did you sleep good?, did you have good dreams?"  

My life makes perfect sense now, to be a mommy to my little princess, and hopefully a little prince soon!!

Justin is the best husband and the best father, he loves to play with briley and take us camping/fishing!  I love our tickle fights, and I love our family, we may not be perfect, but we are 'us' and we love each other and care for each other. We love each other for who we are. And thats all I could ask for in this life, that someone love me for me. 

Trying to Conceive

Last month Justin and I decided to start trying to conceive another child! I am so beyond stoked to have another little sturgiss in the house!! The road to conceiving isnt so easy, don't get me wrong we love trying!! But here I am thinking I am going to get pregnant right away and everything will be easy cheesy. Well I thought I might be pregnant, but AF came. and went. and now I am waiting for Justin to get home from working so we can start baby making again!!

It is a little more difficult for us because Justin is gone at work for 2-3 weeks at a time, so he isnt always home when I am O'ing....But we still try when he gets home! 

We are praying we have a boy. But of course we would be happy with whatever god gives us!
